    Abstract: A method and a system to acquire and manage timed counts are provided. The timed counts are captured by a gamma probe. For example, a system to acquire the timed counts may comprise a timed counts receiver to receive timed counts during a session of a medical procedure in which the timed counts are captured. A database stores the timed counts in memory during the session of the medical procedure. The database is accessible to generate a user interface during the session or a report based on the stored timed counts.
