A hydraulic rotating connector is mounted on the vertical boom of a lift truck when a rotating platform that extends forward from the boom has need to perform hydraulics functions. The purpose of the cover plate is to eliminate or greatly reduce hydraulic oil from coming in contact with product being handled.
