  • Publication number: 20240091422
Abstract: A renal therapy system is disclosed. In an example, the renal therapy system includes a home renal therapy machine that stores, to a log file, dates of when renal therapies were performed and a type of each renal therapy that was performed. The system also includes a server that receives the log file from the home renal therapy machine. The server compares the dates and types of performed renal therapies stored in the log file to a device program that specifies dates for performing renal therapies and the types of renal therapies to be performed. The server displays a flag in a user interface of a clinician computer when there is a deviation from the comparison.

  • Publication number: 20220397428
Abstract: Provided are embodiments for a method for variable differential transformer demodulation using a hybrid algorithm. The method can obtain a first feedback signal over a first half of a first cycle and a second feedback signal over a first half of a second cycle, and obtain a first calibration signal and a second calibration signal during a second half cycle of the first cycle. The method can also obtain an excitation signal over a second half of the second cycle, and determine a sensor position of the variable differential transformer based on the first feedback signal, the second feedback signal, and the excitation signal. • Patent number: 5979653
Abstract: A composite film and vacuum skin package for packaging a product such as a fresh red meat is disclosed. The composite film is thermoformed and sealed under vacuum to a support member to completely enclose a product which is positioned on the support member. The composite film is a gas-permeable film weakly bonded to a gas-impermeable film, permitting the gas-impermeable film to be peeled from the package while leaving the gas-permeable film intact so that the fresh red meat product can bloom from a purplish color to a desirable red color upon exposure to oxygen. A peel initiation mechanism which is a grippable film sealed along an edge of the gas-impermeable film is provided.

  • Patent number: 4257990
Abstract: A cavity in a heat-resistant structure, eg. of ferrous metal, is filled by fitting it with refractory brickwork. Instead of securing the brickwork with conventional cement, a flowable aluminous slag is produced in contact with the brickwork by exothermic reaction of a composition containing metallic aluminium and an oxidizing agent, preferably ferric oxide. The reaction, which may take place wholly or partially within the jointing space or spaces, is at such a temperature that the slag in said spaces is at least at a bond-forming temperature. Additives, eg. refractory particles, a flux, potassium nitrate or ferrous metal may be incorporated in the reaction mixture for control purposes subject to considerations described.
