Patent number: 10385520Abstract: A sports field has a stable, impermeable substrate, a water distributing layer provided over the substrate and an artificial turf layer over the water distributing layer. A bund defines a perimeter of the sports field and extends from the substrate to at least the height of the artificial turf layer. A drain channel having inlets at a height to communicate with the water distributing layer is provided such that water can flow from the water distributing layer into the drain channel and vice versa. As a result of this constructions, there is formed a containment, defined by the bund surrounding the field and by the substrate. Water can be held within the containment in the water distributing layer allowing for water attenuation and cooling of the sports field.Type: GrantFiled: December 19, 2014Date of Patent: August 20, 2019Assignee: Ten Cate Thiolon B.V.Inventor: Robin John Craven

Publication number: 20180320231Abstract: This invention relates to a method of identifying mutations in the cystic fibrosis transmembrane conductance regulator (CFTR) gene, a kit for performing said method, and furthermore to isolated nucleotide sequences being complementary to one or more mutations of the CFTR gene. According to a first aspect of the invention there is provided a method of identifying mutations in the cystic fibrosis transmembrane conductance regulator (CFTR) gene, including the steps of providing one or more nucleic acid sequences, fully complementary to one or more segments of the CFTR gene, wherein the said one or more nucleic acid sequences correspond to the mutation to be identified; providing a biological sample of an individual to be tested for CF; isolating nucleic acids from the biological sample; and testing the biological sample for the presence of one or more of the nucleic acid sequences using a suitable detection method.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 3, 2016Publication date: November 8, 2018Inventors: Robin John GREEN, Refiloe MASEKELA, Cheryl STEWART, Michael Sean PEPPER

Patent number: 10068654Abstract: Serial NAND flash memory may be provided with the characteristics of continuous read of the memory across page boundaries and from logically contiguous memory locations without wait intervals, while also being clock-compatible with the high performance serial flash NOR (“HPSF-NOR”) memory read commands so that the serial NAND flash memory may be used with controllers designed for HPSF-NOR memory. Serial NAND flash memory having these compatibilities is referred to herein as high-performance serial flash NAND (“SPSF-NAND”) memory. Since devices and systems which use HPSF-NOR memories and controllers often have extreme space limitations, HPSF-NAND may also be provided with the same physical attributes of low pin count and small package size of HPSF-NOR memory for further compatibility. HPSF-NAND memory is particularly suitable for code shadow applications, even while enjoying the low “cost per bit” and low per bit power consumption of a NAND memory array at higher densities.Type: GrantFiled: December 28, 2016Date of Patent: September 4, 2018Assignee: Winbond Electronics CorporationInventors: Robin John Jigour, Hui Chen, Oron Michael
