  • Patent number: 12645520
Abstract: Memory with fail indicators, and associated systems, devices, and methods are disclosed herein. In one embodiment, a system includes a plurality of memory systems and a host device. At least one of the memory systems includes a fail indicator connected to the host device via a side channel of the system. The host device is configured to detect an occurrence of a failure on the at least one memory system and to initiate activation of the fail indicator. The side channel can be an I2C or I3C® side channel. The fail indicator, when activated, can provide a visual indication of the failure. For example, the fail indicator can include an LED that can be activated to emit light and provide an indication of the failure. A color of the light can correspond to a type, occurrence, or location of the failure on the at least one memory system.

  • Patent number: 9434710
Abstract: The invention provides a process for hydrolytically converting aloeresin A to aloesin by the following reaction: The amount of aloesin available for extraction from sap of aloe plants is thereby increased and the extraction and purification of the aloesin is also made easier and less costly. As aloesin is more commercially valuable than aloeresin A, the process also increases the commercial value of the sap or aloe bitters from the aloe plant. The process optionally also includes the step of separating the aloesin from the p-coumaric acid. Typical hydrolysis steps that are used in the process are acid hydrolysis, base hydrolysis and enzymatic hydrolysis. In the case of acid hydrolysis, the acid is any suitable organic or inorganic acid, such as hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, nitric acid or phosphoric acid. In the case of enzymatic hydrolysis, the hydrolytic enzyme is typically an esterase, a lipase or a protease.

  • Patent number: 7292046
Abstract: A circuit and method of operation for simulating a capacitive load for an integrated circuit or chip. The circuit adds a small capacitor to a test cell that tests the performance of a chip, such as a DRAM memory device, so that it may be tested realistically before being soldered into a final assembly, such as a DRAM module. Other passive devices, such as inductors or resistors may also be used in place of or in addition to a capacitor. By providing increased capacitance, or inductance or resistance for the test sequence, each circuit is tested under more realistic conditions. In one example, DRAM memory device modules may be realistically tested for performance by using sockets with small capacitors hard wired between pins of the DRAM device and a test interface used to perform the tests.
