  • Patent number: 7516513
Abstract: An adjustable engagement glide is quickly and removably engaged with tubular products to finish the product end and function as a cap, foot, bumper, or scratch protector on products such as furniture, shop and transportation products, and racks and displays. Engagement is by deformation of a resilient bushing frictionally engaging the tubular product inserted in the glide. The glide is configured for severe service without breakage, has provision to protect surfaces upon which it is supported, but may also be easily disengaged from the product for replacement.

  • Patent number: 6999883
Abstract: A control method and apparatus for regulating gas flow from landfill gas wells uses a differential pressure-regulating valve to maintain a set flow through a constant flow wellhead assembly. This wellhead assembly maintains a constant flow from the well despite normal variations in environmental factors affecting gas flow. The wellhead assembly includes a second valve that is used in series with the pressure-regulating valve to adjust the operating conditions of the regulating valve to keep it within its operating range. The pressure-regulating valve configuration allows a simple automatic control to position the valve. Periodic manual sampling of extracted gas and adjustment of the valve conditions is used to adjust for longer-term variations in well conditions.

  • Patent number: 6612073
Abstract: A molded plant growing container system is easily stacked in a vertical array providing a self-supporting apparatus for intense horticulture. This apparatus increases crop yields over conventional growing methods. The containers nest within each other for ease of transport, are quickly and easily assembled, provide efficiency in installation and use of growing medium, increased numbers of plants in a given space, and are adaptable to a variety of irrigation methods.

  • Patent number: 6065730
Abstract: A bolt positioning and retaining device possesses a base through which it is attached to a mud wall. The bolt positioning and retaining device also includes a stop, and may include one or more steps and corresponding step faces, each of which is capable of abutting an edge of a mud wall to enable accurate positioning of a bolt relative to that mud wall. The bolt positioning and retaining device also preferably includes a bolt retainer comprising a plurality of gripping flanges, which allow an anchor bolt to be quickly and easily inserted into the bolt retainer and which securely retain the bolt after insertion. The bolt retainer is located on an extension arm, which preferably extends outward from and at an angle to the plane of the base.
