The auger mounting channel is configured to mount to a shaft of an auger such that the adaptor rotates with the shaft of the auger. The auger mounting channel extends in a direction parallel to and offset from a center axis of a disk formed by the disk portion. The ice agitator includes a hook and an arm that extends from the hook away from the center axis of the disk. The hook is mounted to the disk.

Abstract: A snow-retaining device comprises a detachable upper member attached to a base anchor. The base anchor is adapted to be coupled to a roof. The upper member prevents snow from sliding off the roof during regular snow conditions. In order to prevent catastrophic damage to the roof, if a snow load on the roof exceeds a maximum threshold, the upper member detaches from the base anchor to allow some or all of the snow to slide off the roof. The device optionally integrates a snow melting device.

Abstract: A seam clamp for attachment to a standing seam on a metal roof does not damage the seam during use. The clamp is easily assembled and disassembled by the user. Roofing accessories can be attached to the seam clamp.

Abstract: A base element for assembly of a roofing bracket comprises a fastening means for temporarily or attaching the base element to a metal or non-metal roof and an upper surface. The upper surface comprises a means for engagement of an underside of an upper member of the roofing bracket. The upper member can be selectively attached to the base element in a first or second position.

Abstract: A snow barrier for a roof having modular components including brackets that slidingly interfit into rails that extend up and down the slope of the roof. The brackets may be rotated to provide fences of differing heights. A corrugated fence is easily installed by reason of a self-positioning, hooked, upper flange formed along the upper edge of the corrugated fence. The corrugated fence may be modular, being built-up of smaller, corrugated strips. Pads may replace the rails in supporting the brackets or the brackets may be fastened directly to the roof.
