  • Publication number: 20240068135
Abstract: Interlacing equipment may be used to form fabric and to create a gap in the fabric. The fabric may include one or more conductive strands. An insertion tool may be used to align an electrical component with the conductive strands during interlacing operations. A soldering tool may be used to remove insulation from the conductive strands to expose conductive segments on the conductive strands. The soldering tool may be used to solder the conductive segments to the electrical component. The solder connections may be located in grooves in the electrical component. An encapsulation tool may dispense encapsulation material in the grooves to encapsulate the solder connections. After the electrical component is electrically connected to the conductive strands, the insertion tool may position and release the electrical component in the gap. A component retention tool may temporarily be used to retain the electrical component in the gap as interlacing operations continue.

  • Publication number: 20200174147
Abstract: Methods are described for separating the unknown contributions of two or more sources from a commonly acquired set of wavefield signals representing a wavefield where the sources are laterally located relatively close to each other and fire relatively close in time, and where the contributions from different sources are separated using different source encoding techniques in different parts of a frequency band of interest.

  • Patent number: 8628414
Abstract: A method and system are directed towards providing interactive commentaries within a video game. The interactive commentaries are configured to increase a value of the video game by enhancing the video game with interactive rich commentaries regarding features and concepts of the video game and/or its construction. The interactive commentaries offer a variety of features that may, in one embodiment, take control of a player's view of the video game, and thereby more effectively communicate various aspects during the commentary. In one embodiment, a player may receive a video game reward for playing the interactive commentary.

  • Patent number: 8577613
Abstract: An improved methodology for managing hydrocarbon exploration of at least one prospect. The methodology involves iterative processing that allows decision makers to iterate on assumptions and refine underlying probabilistic models as well as optimize the set of recommended exploration activities that are to be performed over time as additional knowledge is gained.

  • Patent number: 5769423
Abstract: A game suited for use in an educational setting includes a game board, a set of cards containing questions and answers, and a set of pictorial supports fitted on the game board containing pictorial hints which help the players determine or remember the answers to the questions posed. A timer tracks the time to answer each question and scores are kept as to how many questions are answered correctly.

  • Patent number: 4919969
Abstract: A method of manufacturing a seal which involves printing seal material onto a substrate by printing a first layer of seal material onto the substrate with a stencil, printing a subsequent layer of seal material onto the substrate with a further stencil, and curing or partially curing the seal material, wherein the further stencil has a recess formed therein which accommodates the first layer of seal material printed onto the substrate.

  • Patent number: 4181313
Abstract: A seal or gasket having at least one aperture providing a fluid passageway and intended in use to be clamped by clamping means between surfaces of two parts to be sealed. The seal or gasket comprises conformable elastically-compressible material and relatively-incompressible material bonded therein. The relatively-incompressible material forms an extrusion-limiting barrier which extends at least part-way around the aperture, which is interrupted at intervals by portions of the elastically-compressible material and which is spaced from the aperture by a border portion wholly of the elastically-compressible material.
