  • Patent number: 10352283
Abstract: Internal combustion engine fuel, preferably diesel fuel, feed pump assembly, the pump assembly (1) comprising a pump body (2); at least one cylinder (6) formed in the pump body (2) and extending along an axis (A2); a seat (12) formed in the pump body (2), at one end of the cylinder (6); an intake valve (18) for selectively controlling fuel feed into the cylinder (6), which is housed inside the seat (12) and in turn comprises a valve body (25); and an annular seal (26) extending around the axis (A2) and fitted inside the seat (12) between the valve body (25) and the pump body (2); the pump assembly (1) being characterized in that the valve body (25) is positioned contacting the annular seal (26) along a contact surface (45) of the valve body (25) and close to a surface portion adjacent to a radially inner peripheral edge (46) of the seal (26); the valve body (25) having an annular step (48) along another surface portion adjacent to a radially outer peripheral edge (52) of the seal (26).

  • Patent number: 7871251
Abstract: A high-pressure pump for feeding fuel to an internal combustion engine has a pump housing; a fuel delivery duct; and a check valve, which is arranged along the delivery duct, and comprises a fuel chamber; a valve member mobile within the fuel chamber; and a biasing and guiding assembly, which has a fastening member suitable for being fastened to the pump housing and sealing the fuel chamber in a fluid-tight manner; a helical spring suitable for biasing the valve member; and a bushing arranged about the helical spring in order to prevent bending of the helical spring.

  • Patent number: 7845922
Abstract: The invention relates to a vane pump comprising a rotor which is arranged therein, rotatably driven by a drive shaft. The rotor is provided with several grooves which are distributed through the circumference thereof and which extend substantially radially with respect to the axis of rotation of the rotor. In each groove a blade-shaped conveying element is slidingly guided. The end walls of the pump housing are adjacent to the rotor in the direction of the axis of rotation thereof. At least one ring-shaped groove surrounding the axis of rotation of the rotor is embodied in at least one front side of the rotor. The ring-shaped groove is connected to lower areas restricted by the blades in the grooves of the rotor, and to pressure areas. In a preferred embodiment, the ring-shaped groove is formed in the rotor by shaping.
