    Abstract: A pet collar forms a linearly elongated substrate spine upon which are mounted a series of illumination elements. A pair of electrical communication conductors provide for electrical communication among the illumination elements. A light sensor switch is in series between a power source and the illumination elements breaks the electrical circuit upon sensing of sufficient ambient light levels.
