Abstract: The present invention features a combination dustpan and residual dust collection device and method for removing residual dust from a surface after sweeping initial debris into the dustpan collection bin. The combination dustpan and residual dust collection device comprises a unique dusting head strategically positioned preferably on the underside portion of a dustpan. The dusting head is equipped with a dust cloth or dust cover capable of collecting and retaining residual dust typically left on the floor. When dirty, the dusting head material/covering may be replaced and or cleaned.
