The electronic work can be a work of fiction having a storyline and further include searchable information relevant to a person, a place, or a thing in the work of fiction and provide the information after a human reader touches the touch screen at a location displaying the person, the place, or the thing. The information can remind the human reader of the person's, the place's or the thing's relationship to the storyline.

Abstract: An enhanced e-book. The enhanced e-book can include a source file of a base work stored in memory of an electronic device for storing and displaying an electronic document. The source file can include at least one searchable term and the electronic device can also having stored in the memory supplemental information created to supplement the at least one searchable term. The supplemental information can be in an electronically remote file and can be displayed upon displaying search results for the searchable term.

Abstract: A method for enhanced searching in an electronic document by a human reader who can touch a touch screen. The method can include the steps of providing an electronic device having a touch screen and memory, the electronic device having executable instructions in the memory for displaying at least one of a plurality of displayable pages of a work stored in memory of the electronic device; providing an icon for display such that upon touching the touch screen while one of the at least one of a plurality of displayable pages is displayed, the icon is displayed; providing at least one additional selectable feature such that upon touching the icon, the executable instructions cause to be displayed the at least one additional selectable feature; and wherein upon selecting by touching by the human reader one of the at least one additional selectable feature the executable instructions cause to be displayed at least a second instance of where the feature occurs in the work.

The client system comprises a device fingerprint identifiable by the third party administrator, wherein the third party administrator computer system administers the purchase and sale transaction based on receiving account and payment account information associated with the internet content provider and the client system, respectively. The third party administrator authorizes payment upon a request received from the client system for which it identifies the device fingerprint.
