Abstract: A system and method for producing a vehicle seating system includes a frame structure and a cushion positioned in the frame structure. A suspension mat is positioned along a back side of the cushion, and a securing arrangement extends across a width of the cushion such that the suspension mat is positioned between the securing arrangement and the back side of the cushion. The securing arrangement further extends into the cushion and attaches to the anchor which may inhibit dislocation of the cushion from the suspension mat.

Abstract: An anchor assembly is suitable for releaseably and adjustably securing a vehicle seat to the floor of a vehicle. The anchor assembly includes an anchor unit that in use is secured to the floor of the vehicle and a lock unit that in use is secured to the base of the vehicle seat. The lock unit cooperates with an anchor member in the anchor unit so that 1) the position of the vehicle seat can be adjusted by sliding the lock unit along the anchor member, 2) the lock unit can be secured in at least one predetermined adjustment position, and 3) the lock unit can be released from the anchor unit in at least one predetermined release position.
