    Abstract: A system for opening and closing a gate or door which includes a sprocket and a perforated rigid strip of material. The perforated rigid strip of material is mounted to the gate or door. The sprocket is positioned so that the teeth of the sprocket will engage the perforations in the rigid strip. Therefore, when the sprocket is rotated the rigid strip will be moved by the sprocket thus causing the gate or door to open or close.
