The void former includes a built in jacking screw configured to assist in adjusting the height of the concrete slab.

Abstract: A method of processing raw sugar cane juice, comprising: reducing the pH of the sugar cane juice to a pH at which microbiological activity is substantially eliminated; separating chlorophyll from the sugar cane juice; separating particles having a diameter greater than 0.5 microns from the sugar cane juice; denaturing polyphenol oxidase (PPO) in the sugar cane juice by pasteurisation; separating the denatured polyphenol oxidase from the sugar cane juice.

Abstract: An animal interaction device with a base, a housing, and a feeding mechanism having a rotatable platform mounted on the top surface of the base to rotate about an axis of rotation. There is a low profile drive cavity between the platform and the base and a food tray disposed on a top surface of the platform. A drive mechanism is located within the drive cavity and includes a drive mechanism with a curved rack gear engaged with the rotatable platform. There is a horizontally disposed worm drive mounted in communication with the curved rack gear to enable rotation of the rotatable platform about the axis of rotation. As the platform is rotated, the food tray moves from a first position where the tray is concealed under the housing to a second position outside of the housing, thereby allowing access to the food tray by an animal.

Abstract: An ergonomic cane comprises at least one finger hole and at least one elongated finger slot disposed within a handle portion. A cane portion projects downwardly from the handle to support a user when in use. In one embodiment, the handle also provides electronic access to media such as radio or mp3 or other audio formats. A storage interface input is provided such as USB or SD card etc. to allow a user to customize their listening experience. In one embodiment a siren is provided to allow a user to activate a very loud sound in case of an emergency. In another embodiment a light is provided to illuminate a selected area while using the cane.

Abstract: A protective insole comprised of chain mail which is placed in between the lower and upper soles of a construction boot, thereby preventing nails or other sharp objects found on construction sites from penetrating the shoe and causing painful injury to the worker. The insole is preferably rubberized as to provide comfort to the user, and is melded in between the lower and upper soles of the boot. In an alternative embodiment of the invention the chain mail insole is fabricated as a separate, removable sole that is rubberized and placed in the boot itself.

Abstract: A cylinder caddy for safely carrying cylinders in the bed of a pick up truck. The cylinder caddy comprises two mount sleeves and at least one horizontal bar component. The two mounting sleeves are capable of attaching to the factory installed ladder rack holes in the bed of a pick up. The horizontal bar component is attached to the mounting sleeves and is adjustable. The horizontal bar component then has clamps attached to it using an adjustable set screw. The clamps are cylindrical with one side being metal and the other side being nylon. The metal side of the clamp contains a latch mechanism capable of receiving the nylon strap. When transporting a cylinder it is placed into the clamp and locked into place using the latch mechanism.

Abstract: Aspects of a distributed computing environment with remote data collection management include a management server, and a plurality of computer systems networked to and managed by the management server. Each of the plurality of computer systems includes a listening agent to receive process code from a management server and to control the periodic execution of the process code to collect data from the plurality of computer systems. The periodic execution occurs without requiring a connection to be maintained between the plurality of computer systems and the management server. Further, the data collected includes data collected from problem determination activities.

Abstract: A system and method of orchestrating failover operations of servers providing services to an internal computer network includes a DR server configured to execute a control script that performs a failover operation. Information needed to perform the failover operation is stored on the DR server thereby eliminating the need to store agents on each of the application's primary and backup servers. The DR server may provide a centralized location for the maintenance and update of the failover procedures for the internal network's redundant services. A failover operation may be initiated by an authorized user in communication with the internal computer network.

Abstract: A method and system for ordering and aggregating log streams. Log streams for events from different sources are received. If different sources have different recording cycles, or time epochs, that lead to different temporal granularities, then all of the log streams are combined into a single time epoch that is equal to the longest time epoch. Log streams from sources having shorter time epochs continue to retain information about their original time epochs, in order to retain information about the order of the events in those log streams. The log streams are re-ordered, both before and after being integrated into the aggregate log, by acquiring additional data from the different sources, thus permitting the likely cause/effect relationship between events.
