  • Publication number: 20200002905
Abstract: A roadway crossover apparatus includes a first manifold having at least one fluid inlet and a plurality of fluid outlets, a second manifold having a plurality of fluid inlets and at least one fluid outlet, and a plurality of polymeric tubes. Each polymeric tube has a first end fluidically connected to one of the fluid outlets of the first manifold and a second end fluidically connected to a corresponding one of the fluid inlets of the second manifold so the polymeric tubes extend between the first manifold and the second manifold with the first manifold and the second manifold spatially disposed relative to one another and the polymeric tubes spatially disposed relative to one another to permit a vehicle to pass over the polymeric tubes between the first manifold and the second manifold when the first manifold and the second manifold are positioned on a roadway.

  • Patent number: 10344987
Abstract: A system may comprise a speaker in a speaker tube; a directional tube having a proximal end openly connected to the speaker tube; a first plate having an opening aligned with a distal end of the directional tube; a diaphragm in a spaced apart relationship with the first plate such that an air enclosure is formed between the diaphragm and the first plate, wherein the air enclosure, the directional tube, and the speaker tube cooperate to form a static-air space such that air pressure changes in the space produced by the at least one speaker move the diaphragm; a second plate in a spaced apart relationship with the diaphragm such that a gas enclosure is formed between the diaphragm and the second plate; wherein movement of the diaphragm moves gas in the gas enclosure through the second plate thereby modulating flames above the second plate when the gas is ignited.

  • Patent number: 10240796
Abstract: Embodiments of a fire pit insert include a mixing tube with a fuel outlet end, a soundwave input end located below and horizontally offset from the fuel outlet end, and a fuel inlet located between the fuel outlet end and the soundwave input end. A fuel distribution chamber connected to the fuel outlet end has a top plate with orifices, a bottom plate spaced apart from the top plate, and a baffle located between the top and bottom plates. The baffle is arranged coaxial to the fuel outlet end.

  • Publication number: 20110193039
Abstract: A device for lifting and moving motorcycles and other objects comprises a dolly having a base and plural wheels supporting the base; a support means for lifting and supporting at least one side of a motor vehicle, the support means being hingedly connected to the dolly such that the support means can pivotally rotate from a position parallel with the base to a position beyond that which is perpendicular to the base; the support means further comprising a support frame which stays generally parallel with the base as the support means pivotally rotates, the support frame disposed at the end of the support means opposite from the hinged connection to the dolly; the support means further comprising a stop means for preventing the support means from rotating past a predetermined angle to the base; and a crank seat disposed on a side of the support means whereby a crank can be inserted into the crank seat to turn the support means about its hinged axis.

  • Patent number: 7150359
Abstract: An improved motorcycle wheel stand having a set of guide rails (12), a set of vertical supports (14), a positive stop (18), and a perpendicular stabilizing tube (16). The wheel is clamped by pressure supplied by an air spring (38) acting upon a pivoting lever (24) attached to a rotating shoe assembly (21) which rotates up and forward against the rear of the wheel, thus pushing the motorcycle into the stand. Removal of the motorcycle is accomplished by the pressing and cocking of assembly (21) by foot and rolling the motorcycle backwards. Assembly (21) is held down by virtue of the center line of spring (38) being out of line relative to spring mounting points (36) and (34) and the pivot point of lever (24).
