    Abstract: The invention concerns a hinge band for doors or windows, which is easy to manufacture, low-cost and comprises an adjusting mechanism for preferred positions. The hinge band is provided with a first band portion and a second band portion, which are connected with one another around a hinge axis in the manner of a hinge.
