  • Publication number: 20220000537
Abstract: A method and apparatus or system are disclosed for a procedure with minimal or no fluoroscopy, for example an electrosurgical procedure, and which uses a three dimensional mapping system. The procedure typically involves electrical measurement of the electrode of a needle to determine its position. Some embodiments further include intracardiac echocardiography (ICE) for tracking devices. The apparatus includes a needle with a tip electrode, an electroanatomical mapping (EAM) system, and an electrical generator, wherein a switching device is used to restrictively electrically connect the needle to only one of the mapping system or generator at a given time.
    Type: Application
    Filed: September 21, 2021
    Publication date: January 6, 2022

  • Publication number: 20120219241
Abstract: An expandable insert to be used in flexible storage bags, and particularly to expand the flexible storage bag in such a manner as to hold the mouth of the bag open as well as provide a stable base so the bag is free-standing and self supporting to provide for hands-free filling of the bag with food or other materials by a user.

  • Patent number: 7386912
Abstract: A cleaning and scouring brush generally made from a pair of twisted wire arms, each arm having a cleaning portion shaped to conform to the interior profile of an article to be cleaned. The portions are provided with a cleaning or scouring device such as a sponge, scrubber or bristles intended to clean or scour the interior surface of the article to be cleaned. The brush is also provided with a handle which rotates the cleaning portions with respect to one another about an axis in order to facilitate the entry and removal of the device from the article to be cleaned which generally has a relatively small opening into a relatively large interior volume.

  • Publication number: 20070090115
Abstract: A kit for modifying a trash receptacle or rubbish container which generally receives a plastic bag for a liner so as to facilitate the removal and release of the plastic liner containing the rubbish from the trash can when the plastic bag is full. The kit includes a determinable number of sleeves defining air passageways and an adhesive element for attaching each sleeve to an inner sidewall of a container or receptacle to alleviate suction between the wall of the receptacle and the plastic bag liner.

  • Patent number: 4067592
Abstract: A device that tends to retard or impede the articulating movement between a truck tractor and its associated trailer to thereby reduce the likelihood of the vehicle jacknifing which is especially possible when there are wet or icy road conditions. The tractor and trailer are intercoupled by a conventional fifth wheel assembly comprised of upper and lower fifth wheel plates. The movement impeding device is preferably mounted from the tractor and is pneumatically operated. The device comprises a piston having a resilient end, means for supporting the piston for movement normal to the upper fifth wheel plate, and means for operating the piston so that the resilient end is selectively engaged with the lower surface of the upper fifth wheel plate thereby retarding relative rotation between the trailer and tractor.
