  • Patent number: 4960301
Abstract: A liner half for a pickup truck bed which liner half has a bottom panel, a sidewall panel, a front panel, and a front bottom panel. The liner half is initially flat and scored to facilitate folding and slitting as appropriate. Scores are provided to enable the folded structure to form a knee that overhangs and protects a wheel well inside the truck bed.

  • Patent number: 4807314
Abstract: A tensioned bed which comprises first and second parallel support rods which can be mounted to a fixed support structure. A flexible rectangular sheet of limited stretchability has a spreader rod attached to one end of the sheet, with the end wrapped about one of the support rods such that the spreader bar extends parallel to the rod. The opposed sheet ends has a hem which receives the other support rod, a pair straps are attached to the spreader bar and extend along and are attached to the sheet sides. The free ends of the straps are engaged by buckles attached to the sheet proximate the hemmed edge.

  • Patent number: 4763944
Abstract: A tailgate barrier for a light truck comprising a flat membrane of flexible, inelastic material. Apertures are formed through the membrane to pass air therethrough. Stiffeners are incorporated in the membrane at its side edges to maintain the side edge straight, and to distribute the tensioning forces which hold the barrier in place.

  • Patent number: 4679840
Abstract: A removable seat for a truck bed. The seat has front and back lateral runners, the front runner being the higher. The runners are telescopic in construction. Four attachments, two for each runner, are attached to the truck bed, and the runners are held to the truck bed by them. A flexible seat member has a slack length and extends between the runners. It forms a cavity to receive an occupant. A pair of flexible inelastic side panels are attached to the seat member, and a pair of side bands of flexible inelastic material having a shorter length than the slack length are supported by and extend between the runners. Together, the panels with bands make a side restraint and arm rest. A cushion is pivotally attached to the sheet adjacent to the higher runner, so it can be pivoted to protect an occupant from striking that runner. The attachments are preferably sockets to receive laterally extending tongues that are carried by the runners.
