Abstract: A hydrophobic and oleophobic coating composition includes at least a polysilazane polymer and a fluoroacrylate copolymer is applied to one or more work pieces, such as solder paste stencils, via a nebulizing spray system having one or more spray applicators. Application is accomplished by controlled operation of the spray applicator along with controlled movement of a work piece relative to the applicator.

Abstract: A dual water supply system for allowing a water storage tank to be supplied with water harvested from a rainwater catchment area and from a mains supply of water is disclosed. The system includes a valve being coupled to a mains supply of water. The valve is responsive to the level of water within the tank to operate the valve if the level of water in the tank drops below a predetermined level and a pipe to introduce water from the mains supply through an opening into the tank whereby an outlet from the pipe is spaced from the top of the tank and is visible externally of the tank.

Abstract: A downpipe connector system is disclosed. The system having a downpipe connector for attachment to a channel in a canale. The connector has a first portion with an upstanding wall and a floor from which the floor extends. A tubular extension projects from the floor and having a flow passage extending therethrough the system has a transverse wall extending across the channel and downstream of the connector and extends upwardly in the channel from the upstanding wall.

Abstract: A filter is disclosed having a base wall and at least one side wall made from metal mesh material. The side wall consisting of wall portions forming integral extensions to the base wall. Ribs of plastic material are moulded against the mesh material to connect edges of adjacent side wall portions to one another.

Abstract: A flap valve is disclosed having a first spigot and a closure flap with an annular extension adapted to snugly fit within an outlet end of the first spigot and a flange integral with the annular extension adapted to circumscribe the outlet end. The flap valve having a second spigot of smaller diameter than the first spigot forming an extension to the first spigot.

Abstract: An adapter for a first flush water diverter is disclosed. The adapter has a collector for receiving water from a containment area. A passage from a lower part of the collector allows water from the lower part to be directed to an attachment portion which in turn is connected to the water diverter. The collector has at least one outlet for directing water to a storage tank.

Abstract: A rain head is disclosed having three filters through which water entering an inlet to the rain head must pass before passing out through an outlet from the rain head. The filters remove successively smaller particles from the water.

Abstract: A first flush water diverter for use with domestic rainwater collection systems. The diverter comprises a T-piece (13) and a collection chamber (14), with an outlet (15) connectable to a hose by way of a flow control valve (24) and hose connector (25). The collection chamber (14) is variable in length to suit the environment and size of the roof from which the rainwater flows. The carrying capacity of the collection chamber (14), and have its length, is determined from the formula: DF=RA×PF×1000 where DF is the rainwater carrying capacity, or diversion factor, measured in litres, RA is the associated roof area measured in square metres, PF is the Pollution Factor for the roof location which is determined on site and varies between 0.0005 for light pollution locations and 0.002 for heavy pollution locations, and wherein said collection chamber includes an outlet and associated flow control valve to regulate the flow of diverted rainwater from the collection chamber.

Abstract: A first flush rainwater diverter and collection system for use with rainwater storage tanks primarily in domestic situations. The system comprises primary (13) and secondary (14) storage chambers, a T-piece (10) for connection in a rainwater flow path, a fall pipe (12) connected to the T-piece and extending into the primary storage chamber, a float within the fall pipe which seals on a seat when the level of rainwater reaches a preset level, a rainwater flow regulator (17) which regulates the flow of rainwater from the primary storage chamber to the secondary storage chamber, an overflow (18) and an outlet (19) in the secondary storage chamber.

Abstract: A filter pit is disclosed. The pit has an inlet and an outlet adjacent a base of the pit. A primary, a secondary and a tertiary filter are located between the inlet and outlet and the tertiary filter is supported above the base and is able to dry out when the flow of water through the pit ceases.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for preventing the blockage of an internal corner roof gutter (31). An opening is formed at the intersection of the two gutters (12, 13) and a rainwater head (30) with attached downpipe is fitted under the opening. The rainwater head can be designed to include an arcuate section (32) which extends between the two faces of the gutter.
