Abstract: A pipe repair process that uses low modulus materials with good compressive strength in a compression layer that transfers pressure loads between high modulus repair layers and increases the bending strength of the repaired pipe. Carbon fiber and other fiber reinforced materials are used in the high-modulus layers and low cost and easily applied materials, such as concrete, are utilized in the compression layer.
