  • Publication number: 20230016058
Abstract: A rotary connector device includes a stator, a rotator, a first connector, and a second connector. The rotator is rotatable about a rotation axis with respect to the stator. The first connector is provided at the rotator. The second connector is provided at the stator. The first connector includes a first lead block which is attached to the rotator and a second lead block which is a member separated from the first lead block and is attached to the rotator. When viewed from an axial direction along the rotation axis, the first lead block is disposed so as to overlap at least partially the second lead block.

  • Publication number: 20230015631
Abstract: A rotary connector device includes a stator, a rotator, a first connector, and a second connector. The stator is configured to be attached to a vehicle body. The rotator is provided rotatably about a rotation axis with respect to the stator. The first connector is provided at the stator. The second connector is provided at the rotator. The first connector includes a first connector housing space in which a vehicle-body-side connector is disposed in a state where the vehicle-body-side connector is electrically connected to the first connector. When viewed from an axial direction defined along the rotation axis in a state where the stator is attached to the vehicle body, the first connector housing space is disposed not to overlap a vertical plane including the rotation axis.

  • Publication number: 20230012432
Abstract: A lead block includes a lead block body and a plurality of busbars. The plurality of busbars is each partially embedded in the lead block body. The plurality of busbars includes a plurality of exposed portions. The plurality of exposed portions each extends in a longitudinal direction and disposed spaced apart from one another in an arrangement direction orthogonal to the longitudinal direction. The plurality of exposed portions includes at least one first exposed portion. The at least one first exposed portion includes a first surface and a first additional surface disposed on a reverse side of the first surface in the arrangement direction. The first surface includes a first cut surface having an area smaller than an area of the first surface. The first additional surface includes a first additional cut surface having an area smaller than an area of the first additional surface.

  • Patent number: 10199786
Abstract: The present invention provides a rotary connector device that enables relative rotation between the rotator and the stator to be easily and reliably fixed at a neutral position even when a steering device is disengaged. A rotary connector device (1) according to the present invention is provided with: a self-rotation pin (50) that is self-rotatable with respect to a sleeve (30) and that is provided with a pin-side notch (521) that restricts the self-rotation by coming into contact with an inner circumferential surface of a stator-side inner-circumferential cylindrical portion (23); a stationary-side gear (231) and a self-rotation-side gear (511) that transmit the relative rotation and the self-rotation in an interlocked manner; and a stationary-side switching mechanism (40) and a pin protrusion (52) that switch, in a neutral position, the self-rotation pin (50) from a released state to a restricted state.
