The invention also provides a method of treating digestive ailments in animals comprising administering to an animal in need of same an effective amount of a composition comprising at least one natural alumina-silicate mineral which has been irradiated with transverse electromagnetic wave radiation in the range of 1,800 MHz to 3,000 MHz.
