    Abstract: A device for storing and reading data media such as disks read by laser beam comprises at least one column of storage platters mobile in their own planes, a transfer system mounted to move parallel to the column and at least one player provided with a drawer adapted to be placed facing a predetermined position of the transfer system. The device preferably comprises a plurality of columns of storage platters mounted on a rotatable assembly.
