  • Publication number: 20150042001
Abstract: A lubricating system indirectly applies a bladder release agent to a green tire and cures the green tire in a tire curing machine. The system includes a deposition device and a curing bladder. The deposition device directly applies bladder release agent on to a deposition bladder. The deposition bladder is inflated within the green tire in order to deposit the bladder release agent on to an inner surface of the green tire. The curing bladder subsequently receives the green tire with bladder release agent deposited therein and cures the green tire.

  • Publication number: 20140150948
Abstract: A composite cord includes at least one cellulose-fiber first yarn twisted helically about at least one second yarn. The second yarn includes at least one polyamide, polyester, or PEN. The first yarn has a first LASE and the second yarn has a second LASE. The first LASE is higher than the second LASE at a yarn elongation in a range from 0% to 10%.

  • Patent number: 8205652
Abstract: The present invention is directed to a self-supporting tire. More specifically, the tire has a carcass, a tread, and a belt reinforcing structure located radially outward of the carcass and radially inward of the tread. The carcass is comprised of a reinforcing ply structure extending between a pair of bead portions, a pair of sidewalls, each sidewall located radially outward of one of the pair of bead portions, and a pair of inserts located in each sidewall. A first insert and second insert are located between the innerliner and the ply.

  • Publication number: 20100280734
Abstract: System and method for analyzing position data and fuel injector data from a vehicle equipped with a geographical position system (GPS) and fuel injector sensors to enable fuel use patterns of the vehicle to be analyzed. Data defining a flow of fuel through the vehicle's fuel injectors is combined with temporal data and GPS data to produce fuel use encoded GPS data that is transmitted to a remote computer. The fuel use encoded GPS data can be analyzed to determine how much fuel was used by the vehicle during off road use to enable proper fuel tax computations to be performed. The data can also be used to evaluate the mechanical condition of a vehicle. By monitoring fuel use for a trip repeated numerous times, a decrease in fuel efficiency may indicate a mechanical problem (dirty injectors, fouled spark plugs, etc).

  • Patent number: 6211701
Abstract: A drive circuit comprises an output terminal for connection to a signal line 1002. An inductor 1012 is coupled between the signal line 1002 and a reference voltage node 1010. A switch 1008 is coupled between the signal line 1002 and the reference voltage node 1010. When the switch 1008 is closed, the inductor 1012 is coupled between the reference voltage node 1010 and the signal line 1002. When the switch is open, the inductor 1012 is not coupled between the reference voltage node 1010 and the signal line 1002.

  • Patent number: 4023619
Abstract: A method and apparatus for connection of a central undersea station to a group of wells and outflow pipes is disclosed. The undersea station locks onto a platform which has a series of guides and locking devices to receive and lock the station relative to itself as well as to other locations for the installation of wellheads which are to be ultimately serviced by the station. The method essentially comprises that prior to the connection of the wells and the pipes a guide member is installed on the platform between the location of the station and each of the locations of the wells or pipes and then the central station is lowered and is provided a lateral connection device such that when the platform is locked into position, the lateral connection device is opposite the guide on the platform.

  • Patent number: 4004635
Abstract: In the connection of a relatively inflexible pipe to a submerged well head at a depth which may be greater than that to which divers can descend, a pipe placing structure is first locked onto the well head and the pipe is then lowered and automatically connected to the placing structure, a bell housing a sub-assembly including the master valve is next lowered onto the well head and locked thereon by a bearing structure to which the bell is attached. A crew is transferred to the bell to connect the sub-assembly to the well head and to a connector which is automatically connected to the pipe.
