  • Patent number: 4513568
Abstract: An energy transformation cycle in which the number of strokes is higher than four, at least four of which are:a. the compression of air contained in a variable volume chamber, into a preheating chamber;b. the expansion of the variable volume chamber through the expansion of hot air contained in the preheating chamber;c. the compression of the expanded hot air contained in the variable volume chamber into a combustion chamber where fuel is introduced to cause the combustion of the mixture; andd. the expansion of the variable volume chamber through the expansion in the chamber of high temperature and high pressure combustion gases from the combustion chamber. The engine comprises a body (23) inside which is a movable member (25) defining a variable volume chamber (29). The body (23) comprises an admission duct (35) and an exhaust duct (34).

  • Patent number: 4487168
Abstract: The machine comprises at least one central pivot 7 angularly fast with a control member 1 and mounted for oscillation on said control member 1 around a direction perpendicular to the axis of the control member 1 and a first eccentric 31 the axis of the active portion of which 33 passes through the intersection of the axes of the control member 1 and of the central pivot 7.A piston 22 turns on the active part 33 of the eccentric 31 and is pivoted concentrically to the axis of the central pivot 7. This piston comprises at least one active face 24 moving within at least one chamber 8 to modify its volume. It comprises further cinematic means 37, 38, 41 imposing a relative rotation between the eccentric 31 and the control member 1.The walls 10, 11 of the chamber 8 are fast with the central pivot 7.

  • Patent number: 4391200
Abstract: The device comprises cabins allowing a front or side access, each cabin having a first part and a second part. The first part of the cabin comprises a frame (6), rolling along a rolling track (1,2), carrying a fixed floor (11) surrounded by a fixed protection wall (12). The second part of the cabin comprises a rectangular grooved plate (13). In the loading and unloading areas the plates (13) of adjacent cabins are in contact and form a continuous carpet. A rotary moving door (23) surrounds the cabin when the latter moves individually outside the loading and unloading areas.

  • Patent number: 4021158
Abstract: A spherical piston machine comprises a chamber whose wall is at least partly spherical. A spherical piston, mounted within this chamber, comprises two elements, the chamber and piston delimiting a free space of variable shape. At least one of the elements of the piston is angularly fixed to a control axle, forming an angle with the longitudinal axis of the machine and extending in a direction passing through the center of the spherical chamber. The two elements of the spherical piston are articulated in a zone extending perpendicular to each control axle. Means are provided for rotatably driving about its own axis at least one of the control axles, as well as for rotatably driving each control axle about the longitudinal axis of the machine.
