    Abstract: A lid for a beverage container. The lid has a drink opening portion that is moveable from a closed position to an open position. When in the open position the drink opening portion forms a depression in the top of the lid. The depression has a floor extending from a radially inner wall to a radially outer wall, the walls being integral with the top of the lid. When pushed into the open position, openings are formed on either side of the depression between the inner and outer walls and the top of the lid and the floor.
