  • Publication number: 20230182044
Abstract: A pressure and heat molded polymer tube, formed of miniscule polyethylene beads, each in the vicinity of 115 um powder in diameter, which when compression molded forms pores that are of uniform diameter throughout their length within the range of 5 um-10 um, the tube having an upper flange, that mates within a correspondently shaped grommet, which when applied to the transverse plate of an air filtration housing, functions to cleanse highly efficiently the dust particles and debris from the air being filtered, when passing through the filtration system, so that such purified air can be discharged safely.

  • Publication number: 20230072328
Abstract: A dust filtering and collection system for filtering dust and other debris particles from an incoming dust laden air stream, such air stream generally being used for conveying granular material into or from a bulk tank trailer, a railroad car, or other conveying vehicle, the filtering system designed to be functioned by vacuum air pressure, operatively generated by a blower, to draw in the soiled air into the filter system, to cleanse such air for further use in the conveying of the granular material. The air flow may be reversed, to provide for a dislodging of any dust particles from the filtering system, and to cleanse the filter for further efficient usage of the system in conveying granular material into or out of the tank trailer, or other vehicle during usage. The filter system includes a pod of filter tubes encapsulated by a polymer header that mounts to a transverse plate that secures to the approximate upper end of the filter canister of the filtration system.

  • Publication number: 20220176288
Abstract: A dust filtering and collection system for filtering dust and other particles from an air stream generally being used for conveying granular material into or from a bulk tank, with the filtering system designed to incorporate structure, such as a specially designed grommet, for holding a porous filter tube for filtering out such dust particles, with a grommet having structure to provide for its interlocking and engagement with and through an aperture in a transverse plate within the system. The grommet has an upper flange, that engages the upper surface of the transverse plate, and has an inner flange for engagement with the upper edge of the filter tube, while the bottom of the grommet has resilient fingers and associated detents for engaging the bottom of the transverse plate, to furnish an interlocking of the grommet, with its supported filter tube, onto and through the transverse plate.

  • Publication number: 20110168934
Abstract: A ball valve has a first half and second half coupled to form a valve body. The first half has an outlet passage, a single ball seat at an opening of the outlet, a first aperture receiving a first stem, and a first flange oriented about 45 degrees from the outlet. The second half has an inlet passage, a second aperture receiving a second stem, and a second flange oriented about 45 degrees from the inlet. A half ball is coupled to a first stem and a second stem disposed in the first and second apertures such that the half ball rotates about an axis of the first and second stems. The half ball rotates between a closed position in which a sealing side of the half ball is sealed against the single ball seat to prevent fluid flow, and an open position that permits fluid flow.

  • Patent number: 7520925
Abstract: A filter silencer with quick disconnect lid has a cylindrical hollow casing, an inlet, a filter within the casing, a spring loaded seal plate beneath the filter, a flange opposite the inlet, and a lid turning to connect to the flange. The inlet admits blower air into the casing generally beneath the spring loaded seal and the air enters the sides of the filter. The air travels upwards through the filter and exits through the lid. Wear pads beneath a locking ring engage the tapered ears upon the lid. The lid has an outlet through which filtered air discharges. The lid has ports for monitoring differential pressure and air temperature while the casing has a port for a pressure relief valve.

  • Publication number: 20050248098
Abstract: A pipe coupler interconnects pipes and fittings and sections of pipe end to end for transferring bulk dry and fluid materials. The coupler connects various pipe ends, grooved, smooth, and ground, together. The coupler also connects various fittings such as tees and valves to pipe ends. Two arms clamp upon the two pieces of a gasket to seal the connection of pipes and fittings within the coupler. A plurality of ridges upon both surfaces of the piece grasp and seal the end of a pipe. The gasket removes any gaps in the connection that would have trapped material and contaminated later loads of material.

  • Patent number: 6182326
Abstract: Apparatus for a home workshop to collect wood dust from a plurality of locations and deposit the dust in a central container. The apparatus consists of a tubing manifold, running along the wall of the workshop, with multiple connection points for tools. The manifold contains a vacuum tee fitting that allows the vacuum source to be connected in the middle of the manifold, rather than at one of the ends, without sacrificing collection efficiency. This reduces the average length of the suction path to the tools, further enhancing collection efficiency, and allows location of the vacuum source where convenient.
