    Abstract: A cosmetic container is provided with an annular lip within the container neck by a method which involves providing a closure for the container which has moulded integrally therewith a lip-forming member. When the closure is fitted to the container, the member forms an interference fit with the inner wall of the container and is retained when the closure is removed. An applicator wand on the closure extends through the annular member and the member acts as a wiper for the wand.

    Abstract: A syringe injecting device comprising a body with a slideway therein which receives a syringe carriage biased into one position by a spring and reciprocal in said slideway. A handle extends from the body and there is a communication between the carriage for the syringe and a gear in the handle, which gear is controlled by a latch having a detent which may be released by a trigger from permitting the carriage to be impelled forward under spring action to insert the needle of the syringe into a body.
