    Abstract: The throwing knife including a single blade having a blade point, a root portion connected to a handle having a butt end onto which is attached a cloth tail. Formed at the root portion of the blade are a pair of wing members which extend laterally outward from the plane of the knife on opposite sides for engagement by the index and middle finger of the person throwing the knife.
