Patent number: 10252131Abstract: A sports training aid is provided that includes a base, a support structure and a top portion. The base structure may support the support structure and the top portion in an upright position when placed on a surface. The top portion includes a first side and a second side with extensions extending towards a user. A waist boundary is formed in between the extensions. Therefore, a user may position their waist within the extensions and practice a swing. The extensions of the sports training device may provide proper restriction and thereby train a user to have a proper hip rotation.Type: GrantFiled: January 21, 2014Date of Patent: April 9, 2019Inventors: Roger Delano May, II, Bobby John Lamm

Publication number: 20180260081Abstract: A technique includes determining a ranked list of tasks that are ranked based on a likelihood of being selected by a user, the ranked list of tasks including a site identifier that identifies a site and a mode of navigation for the site as either a launch mode to launch a new page from the site or a switch mode to switch to a stored context of the site, displaying a task switcher/launcher interface that includes a selectable icon for a plurality of tasks from the ranked list of tasks, receiving, by a client application, a signal selecting one of the displayed tasks, determining a site and a mode of navigation for the selected task, and performing, by the client application, site navigation for the selected task based upon the mode of navigation for the selected task. A mode of navigation may include launch mode or switch mode.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 30, 2014Publication date: September 13, 2018Inventors: Philippe J. Patent number: 8997046Abstract: In one configuration, a program analyzer for comparing a first and second program is disclosed. The analyzer may be stored on tangible computer readable storage media, and configured to be executed by a processor of a computer. Each program may comprise a plurality of blocks, each block comprising a block identifier. The analyzer may comprise a preparation process, a comparison process, a refinement process, a repetition process, and an output process.Type: GrantFiled: August 30, 2012Date of Patent: March 31, 2015Assignee: Google Inc.Inventors: Roger Delano Paul McFarlane, Christopher Howard Hamilton, Eric Dingle, Sigurôur Eggert Ásgeirsson

Patent number: 8656380Abstract: Systems and methods for profiling an executable include generating differently instrumented versions of a portion of the program code for the executable. References to the portion of the program code may be replaced with references to a control function that conditionally executes the differently instrumented versions. Different profiling modes may be selected at runtime to control which version is executed. Profiling data may also be generated during execution of the program.Type: GrantFiled: May 10, 2012Date of Patent: February 18, 2014Assignee: Google Inc.Inventors: Sigurôur Eggert Ásgeirsson, Christopher Howard Hamilton, Eric Dingle, Roger Delano Paul McFarlane

Patent number: 8388850Abstract: A mobile water treatment system is disposed on a trailer of a truck. There is an intake filter, an intake hose, a pump or multiple pumps for water intake and sending water throughout the system, a filtering section that may include sand and/or bag filter or other types of filters, an ozone treatment section after the filters, a holding tank after the ozone section, a UV treatment section after the holding tank, and a chlorination tank. The water may then be sent to a water storage facility or other place as desired. The system includes a generator for power to run the system, and a controller for the system. The ozone section makes use of a misting nozzle in order to increase ozone contact time, and decrease ozone breakdown. The UV section makes use of a slightly downward tilted table with UV bulbs and reflectors above it, and preferably is mounted on a leveling system. A method of treating water uses the mobile system.Type: GrantFiled: April 3, 2009Date of Patent: March 5, 2013Assignee: Neos International, LLCInventor: Roger A. Delano

Patent number: 6452184Abstract: A composite phosphor screen for converting radiation, such as X-rays, into visible light. The screen includes a planar surface, which can be formed from glass, silicon or metal, which has etched therein a multiplicity of closely spaced microchannels having diameters of the order of 10 microns or less. Deposited within each of the microchannels is a multiplicity of phosphors which emit light when acted upon by radiation. A photomultiplier, which may be microchannel based, is integrated with the X-ray detector so as to provide an enhanced output for use with low level X-ray of for cine or fluoroscopy applications. The walls of the microchannels and/or the substrate surfaces include dielectric stack based light reflective coatings.Type: GrantFiled: August 30, 1999Date of Patent: September 17, 2002Assignee: Nanocrystal Imaging Corp.Inventors: Nikhil R.
