Further, the first radius of curvature may be larger than the second radius of curvature such that the suction side surface is flatter than the pressure side surface or vice versa.

Thus, during operation of the wind turbine, the damping elements are configured to damp vibrations of the tower so as to reduce noise generated thereby.
