Abstract: A utility meter system for metering a building is described. The utility meter system includes a conduit, a meter box assembly and a support mechanism. The conduit can be adapted to house and provide at least one utility cable to the utility meter system. The meter box assembly can be adapted to house at least one connector, the connector in communication with the utility cable from the conduit, wherein the meter box assembly is in communication with the conduit. The support mechanism can provide stability to the meter box assembly, and the support mechanism can include a first end and a second end, wherein the meter box assembly is in communication with the first end of the support mechanism.
