Abstract: A rotor for an impact crusher which has rotor plates distributed along the length of a rotor shaft and secured to the shaft. Aligned, open, recessed cavities in multiple rotor plates receive a backing bar spanning the plates and the bar is secured to the plates. A removable hammer bar seats in the cavities and rests against the backing bar. Wedges held in place by retainers hook the hammer bar in place.

Abstract: A conveyor vehicle having a pair of lateral-feeding conveyors which in a road transport position extend longitudinally along opposite sides of a vehicle frame. A longitudinally-feeding conveyor has a road transport position stacked above the lateral-feeding conveyors. The conveyors have mountings mounting them for pivotal movement to place them in set up positions and expanses of the conveyors fold over to attain compactness.

Abstract: An improved crusher with first, second and third curtain assemblies. Each curtain assembly mounts a series of crusher plates and the plates of its curtain assemblies are distributed circumferentially above a rotor in the crusher. The three curtain assemblies pivot or swing about a common pivot axis. Gravity biases the third curtain assembly whereby the breaker plates are urged toward the rotor of the crusher. Springs and curtain rods are part of structure additionally biasing the third curtain assembly.

Abstract: A vehicle for feeding and screening material including a wheel-supported vehicle frame and a material-transport conveyor extending from one end of the vehicle frame to a raised end located between the ends of the vehicle frame. A multiple deck screen assembly forms an extension of the material-transport conveyor, and inclines downwardly toward a discharge end located at the opposite end of the vehicle frame. Off-bearing conveyors are adjustable to transport screened material laterally of the vehicle frame.

Abstract: Disclosed is a vehicle adapted for movement over the road supporting heavy-duty road construction equipment. A control panel housing instrumentation controlling motors in the equipment is detachably supported on a vehicle frame in the vehicle through a pivoted frame that mounts the control panel, and a platform frame which supports the pivoted frame. During road transport, the pivoted frame assumes a position on the vehicle with the control panel in a prone position. With the equipment readied for use, the control panel, and the pivoted and platform frames, are separated from the vehicle, and the platform frame rested on the ground. The pivoted frame may then be pivoted to swing the control panel to an upright position.

Abstract: A mobile material handling apparatus which includes a collapsible conveyor system supported on a wheel-supported vehicle frame. The conveyor system may be shifted from a collapsed state to an extended state through operation of fluid-powered rams. Hinges and pivoted links guide frame sections in the conveyor system for movement in defined paths.
