  • Patent number: 11428729
Abstract: An example apparatus includes a block configured to connect mechanically to a circuit board. The circuit board includes a first conductive path running to a first electrical contact on the circuit board and a second conductive path running to a second electrical contact on the circuit board. The first electrical contact and the second electrical contact are arranged in an area of the circuit board. The block includes a component having a surface that is configured to cover at least part of the area. A conductive layer is attached to at least part of the surface. The conductive layer is for creating a short circuit between the first electrical contact and the second electrical contact following connection of the block to the circuit board.

  • Publication number: 20130104073
Abstract: A method of providing a navigable environment of an indoor space. The indoor space includes a plurality of rooms 18-30, which are optionally mapped to a floor plan 12. The method includes acquiring a plurality of images 60, 62 that are associated with the plurality of rooms 18-30 of the indoor space. At least a portion of the plurality of images 60, 62 are combined into at least two panoramic views 74 for each room 18-30 and rendered into a model of the indoor space. A three-dimensional model is defined from the rendered model and graphically illustrated as a three-dimensional navigable representation with a graphics engine so that a first user may navigate the indoor space.

  • Patent number: 7799366
Abstract: A unique flexible cover and a method are provided for creating such a flexible cover for a prosthesis, orthosis or other dynamic or flexible supporting device. One implementation of the method includes the steps of capturing an image of a target object comprising at least a portion of an existing body part of a person or another object, digitally processing and manipulating the image of the target object to form a representation, printing the representation onto a flexible cover, and applying the cover to a prosthesis, orthosis, or other object.

  • Publication number: 20040242953
Abstract: To provide versatile radioactive implants and methods of radiation therapy, plating methods such sputtering, as are used to coat single elements such as microspheres, wires and ribbons with radioactive metals, protective layers and identification layers. The resulting solid, radioactive, multilayered seamless elements are implanted individually or combined in intercavity applicators, with fabrics and in ribbons. Because they have selected half-lives and intensities, they provide flexibility in treatment, permitting low intensity or high intensity treatment using temporary or permanent implants and implants with high intensity or low intensity or contoured intensity to permit different therapies.
