  • Publication number: 20230274268
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed that generate Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) at a point of sale using a QR code and a private key. The systems and methods can also be used to verify the purchase of a ticket to a real-world event such as a concert for display, purchase, or sale in the so-called Metaverse. The systems and methods can be used to verify the source of a credential such as a diploma, degree, or certification of any kind. The systems and methods mint NFTs that can be used to prove the source or authenticity of the real-world product, event, or credential. The requestor of the verification can be a 3rd party such as a social media, ecommerce, or dating platform.

  • Publication number: 20050028576
Abstract: A method is provided for forming an end closure for a surrounding sidewall of a container, such as an aluminum can. The method includes forming a central body panel oriented transversely to the central axis of the can and forming an outer surrounding margin portion joined to the sidewall such that the margin portion has a support section oriented longitudinally relative to the sidewall. A portion of the margin is corrugated to provide a rib structure having longitudinally extending first rib components located on the support section. This method can be accomplished during the ironing and doming of a can.

  • Patent number: 5549752
Abstract: Apparatus for applying a coating material, such as a lubricant, to the top and bottom surfaces of a continuous strip of material wherein the continuous strip of material is passed between two wicks mounted in each of an upper and lower housings with each of the housings having a plurality of spaced apart bores and wherein metered amounts of the coating material is supplied sequentially to each of the plurality of spaced apart bores by a piston mounted for reciprocating movement. In another embodiment, the wicks apply coating material to the outer surface of an upper drive roll and a lower idler roll so that coating material is applied to the upper and lower surfaces of a continuous strip of material as it passes therebetween.

  • Patent number: 5012218
Abstract: A device for measuring electric current includes a toric core having a gap that establishes a pair of opposed end faces, and a continuous conductor having terminal ends and wound around the core in contiguous turns forming a toric solenoid interrupted by the gap. The solenoid has first and second ends adjacent the respective end faces of the core, and the conductor at each end of the solenoid passes through the core and extends along the axis thereof from the opposed end faces of the core such that the terminal ends of the conductor are located diametrically opposite the gap. A first compensation coil is serially connected to said first end of the solenoid such that the first coil overlies the first end of the solenoid to which the first compensation coil is connected.

  • Patent number: 4491613
Abstract: A base coat applicator utilizing an in-feed chute which provides supply of cans which are mounted on mandrels for application of base coat material by applicator wheels. The mandrels are rotated so that surface speed of the cans matches the applicator wheel speed to prevent smearing. Independent control of the inventory production speed of the base coat applicator machine and the applicator wheels allows any desired number of base coat layers to be applied to the cans. Two applicator wheels are used to reduce surface speeds to prevent misting and slinging of base coat material from the applicator wheels and can surfaces. The applicator assembly is automatically withdrawn when the supply of cans is not present and can be manually withdrawn by the operator to prevent application of base coat material to cans or empty mandrels. Disk transfer unit is utilized to transfer the coated cans to a deco pin chain.
