    Abstract: Hexamethoxymethylmelamine is incorporated into arylene sulfide polymer. The resulting composition is precured to give a polymer of improved processability and/or applied to a substrate and cured under less severe conditions than would be required without the additive. Alternatively, high temperature processing can be utilized to give a foamed product.
