Abstract: A compound of the formula ##STR1## wherein one of Y and Z is a perhaloalkyl group having 1 to 2 carbon atoms and the other is halogen or methyl; and R is OR.sup.1 in which R.sup.1 represents a phenoxybenzyl group optionally substituted in the alpha position by a cyano or ethynyl group.

Abstract: Polyhalogenated hydrocarbons of general formula RR.sup.1 CH--CHX--CH.sub.2 CYZQ wherein R is hydrogen or lower alkyl, R.sup.1 is lower alkyl, X is Cl, Br or I, Y is F, Cl or Br, Z is Y or Q and Q is a group W(CF.sub.2).sub.m --in which W is hydrogen, F or Cl and m is 1 or 2, provided that X is always Br or I when at least one of Y and Z is Br, and a process for preparing these polyhalogenated hydrocarbons by reacting an alkyl-substituted butene with a polyhalogenated alkane having from 2 to 4 carbon atoms, in the presence of a catalyst.

Abstract: Insectically active oxadiazindione derivatives of the formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 is 2-chlorophenyl, 4-chlorophenyl, 2,6-dichlorophenyl, 3,5-dichlorophenyl, 2,6-difluorophenyl, 3-nitrophenyl, 3-trifluoromethylphenyl, 2-tolyl or 3,5-xylyl, and R.sup.2 is phenyl or phenyl substituted by methyl, methoxy, chlorine, fluorine, or nitro, provided that at least one of R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 is a chloro-or fluoro-substituted phenyl group.

Abstract: New diazine derivatives corresponding to the formula ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 denotes a heterocyclic-aromatic radical which is optionally substituted by halogen, lower alkyl, aryl, nitro, cyano, trifluoromethyl, carboxyl, R.sub.3 OOC--, (R.sub.3).sub.2 NCO--, (R.sub.3).sub.2 N--, R.sub.3 O--, R.sub.3 SO.sub.2 --, R.sub.3 SO-- or R.sub.3 S--, and R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 independently of one another denote lower alkyl, alkoxyalkyl, alkenyl or cycloalkyl which is optionally bonded via an alkylene bridge, processes for the production of the new compounds, compositions containing these compounds and a process for combating Coccidia.

Abstract: Substituted 6-phenyl-oxa(thia)-diazin-6-one derivatives according to the formulae Ia and Ib described hereinafter are very effective coccidiostatics and selective herbicides.
