    Abstract: A system for monitoring the health of a hospital patient. The system includes a score engine configured to identify the status of a patient's health using one or more measurements relating to the patient, and a list manager configured to identify a medical practitioner associated with the patient. The system is configured to send a message to the medical practitioner in dependence on the identified status of the patient's health. A corresponding method is also provided.
