  • Patent number: 10997874
Abstract: A combination wristband and label form has a front sheet with a bottom portion having a plurality of labels die cut therein, and a top portion having an indicia-receiving area defined therein. A back sheet of the form has a bottom portion having a release liner, and a top portion having a wristband die cut therein and separable therefrom. The wristband includes first and second arm portions extending in opposite directions from a central portion having a top half and a bottom half. The first and second arm portions have first and second lateral ends with adhesive areas adjacent thereto. A perimeter is defined between an edge defining the top half of the central portion and the indicia-receiving area. Adhesive is provided adjacent at the perimeter. Further, adhesive is provided adjacent the bottom half of the central portion.

  • Publication number: 20070007359
Abstract: The present invention discloses a method and system for preparing variably configured business communication magnetic templates that may be used in connection with marketing, advertising, promotional and information conveying activities. The method includes the preparation of a magnetic assembly having a top printable surface that is bonded to a magnetic layer. The template intermediates are printed on the printable surface of the substrate and are then cut through the use of electromagnetic energy appearing in one of visible, infrared and ultraviolet light spectrums. In a continuing embodiment, once the templates are printed and cut from the substrate, the templates may then be mounted on the surface of a carrier web for further processing and packaging for delivery to an end user customer.

  • Publication number: 20060263594
Abstract: The present invention is directed to a continuous system for creating high quality pressure sensitive products that can be provided in both a linered and liner free arrangement. The process provides the ability to variably image individual portions of a sheet that is then cut into separate segments which form the intermediate label portions. A release material is applied over one surface of the segment and directly over the printed areas and a pattern of pressure sensitive adhesive is applied to a second surface opposite that of the first surface. The label segments may be die cut and are then may be placed on a temporary carrier web or alternatively can be positioned in a slightly overlapping arrangement to create a temporary web to transport the label segments to a collection or use location.

  • Publication number: 20060263561
Abstract: The present invention relates to the production of a glossy, prime label pressure sensitive laminate assembly having high quality graphical depictions. More particularly, the specification describes a process in which individual segments are prepared by printing or imaging areas of a sheet with discrete indicia, preferably by using a high quality imaging device that produces graphical depictions on the surface of the sheet. The sheets are then cut or separated into prime label ribbons or segments, with each segment containing printing, and then the segments or ribbons are placed on a continuously advancing web to produce a web having discrete pre-printed ribbons or segments applied thereto. A glossy film is then placed over the segments and sealed or laminated to the surface of the segments to produce a glossy prime label assembly. The laminated web may then be cut into individual sheets to create sheets that have one or more prime label ribbons disposed thereon.
