  • Publication number: 20150159630
Abstract: One embodiment of a system for receiving wind and converting it to storable power, includes a wind capturing apparatus, including a least three sails, the least three sails having a shape, oriented to have an axis of rotation perpendicular to a surface on which the system is positioned, wherein the wind capturing device captures induced wind; an axle, in communication with wind capturing apparatus such that it receives rotational energy when the wind capturing apparatus rotates about the axis of rotation; and a generating unit, the generating unit receiving rotational energy from the axle and transforming it into storable energy.

  • Patent number: 5809852
Abstract: A wrench having a slidable actuator member within an elongate recess formed in the handle, the slide member being provided with a suitable pressure-operated knob for ease of manipulation. A flexible steel member is connected at one end thereof to the slide member, with the other end connected to the integrally formed slidable spine member or keyed shaft of the adjustable jaw of the wrench. A plurality of diamond-shaped openings are provided in a row of a recess cover for receiving a matingly configured member at specific locations along the length of the handle, with the openings located at points corresponding to predefined sizes or spacing of the jaws. The matingly configured member is operated into and out of engagement with the diamond-shaped openings on depression and movement of the knob to set the jaw opening to the desired size.
