  • Patent number: 9596460
Abstract: The effects of inter pixel capacitance in a pixilated array may be measured by first resetting all pixels in the array to a first voltage, where a first image is read out, followed by resetting only a subset of pixels in the array to a second voltage, where a second image is read out, where the difference in the first and second images provide information about the inter pixel capacitance. Other embodiments are described and claimed.

  • Publication number: 20140212161
Abstract: An imaging device includes a fuser assembly including a heat transfer member and a backup member positioned to engage the heat transfer member thereby defining a fusing nip therewith. A motor is coupled to the backup member for rotating the backup member. A controller coupled to the fuser assembly controls the motor using time-based commutation for a period of time to rotate the backup member at a slower speed relative to a speed for performing a toner fusing operation. In memory, at least one lookup table is stored having entries which, when sequentially accessed by the controller during the time-based commutation, are used to generate one or more drive signals for the motor to cause current flowing through windings of the motor to have a substantially sinusoidal waveform.

  • Patent number: 4874057
Abstract: A hydromechanical all wheel drive mechanism providing both hydraulic and mechanical drive to each wheel. A valve in the hydraulic drive senses the relative wheel slippage on one side of the vehicle and compensates for that slippage by directing greater hydraulic power to the side of the vehicle which has greater traction.

  • Patent number: 4736965
Abstract: A vehicle suspension wherein hydraulic fluid is delivered to or from each spension unit via a pilot-operated shuttle valve. Each shuttle valve is controlled by the pressure within the suspension unit, such that suspension force is maintained during jounce and rebound motions. The various shuttle valves may be located in a common manifold housing to reduce the plumbing complexity. The shuttle valves may be selectively bypassed under special circumstances, e.g., to lower the vehicle, or to facilitate vehicle turning maneuvers.

  • Patent number: 4418731
Abstract: A log splitter attachment for use with a garden tiller. The log splitter attachment is comprised of a frame portion which is releaseably attached to the roto-tiller drive shaft, a log splitting screw which is releaseably attached to the tiller drive shaft to allow for rotatable movement of said splitting screw in unison with the garden tiller drive shaft, and a log support bar attached to the frame portion and extending outwardly for ground engaging support to provide a log rest support during use, and to stabilize the frame portion and the tiller during use.

  • Patent number: 4266798
Abstract: A push-pull coupling (18) for wheel supported power scrapers (10 and 14) has a coupling means (26) supported for cushioned fore-and-aft movement in a mounting frame (21) at the rear of a first power scraper (10) and a power operated bail (39) at the front of a second power scraper (14). The coupling means (26) has a rearwardly facing hook (37) against which a bight (39a) of the bail (39) may push, and a forwardly facing hook (38) against which the bight (39a) of the bail (39) may pull.

  • Patent number: 4135584
Abstract: A bulldozer including a vehicle frame, a dozer blade forwardly of the frame, a lift linkage movably secured to the frame and including two spaced arms extending longitudinally of the frame and connected to the blade, at least one motor connected to the frame and to one of the blade and the lift linkage for selectively elevating the blade relative to the frame, and a stabilizing linkage interconnecting the frame and one of the blade and the lift linkage including a first link mounted intermediate its ends on the frame for rotation about an axis extending longitudinally of the frame, and second and third elongated links each having an end pivoted to the first link on opposite sides of the axis and extending in opposite directions therefrom, the other ends of the second and third links being pivoted to one of a corresponding arm and blade.

  • Patent number: 3994084
Abstract: In earthmoving equipment, such as a scraper, an adjustable feedthrough protective bit is mounted on each side wall of the bowl in position to protect the leading edges of the bowl in the vicinity of a cutter blade extending between said side walls. Guide straps or abutments are provided on the walls to hold each bit in fixed position on the bowl and a novel arrangement of apertures and openings are provided in each bit and in the wall of the bowl to facilitate effectively securing the bit to the bowl. The bit configurations may be such as to permit end-for-end reversal of orientation of the bit and to provide for use of the bit on either side of the equipment.
