  • Patent number: 7700190
Abstract: This invention relates to a flame-resistant spun staple yarns and fabrics and garments comprising these yarns and methods of making the same. The yarns have 25 to 90 parts by weight of a polymeric staple fiber containing a structure derived from a monomer selected from the group consisting of 4,4?diaminodiphenyl sulfone, 3,3?diaminodiphenyl sulfone, and mixtures thereof; and 10 to 75 parts by weight of a textile staple fiber having limiting oxygen index of 21 or greater, based on 100 parts by weight of the polymeric fiber and the textile fiber in the yarn.

  • Publication number: 20050025962
Abstract: An intimate blend of staple fibers has from 10 to 75 parts by weight of at least one aramid staple fiber, from 15 to 80 parts by weight of at least one flame retardant cellulosic staple fiber, and from 5 to 30 parts by weight of at least one polyamide staple fiber. The intimate blend of staple fibers provides yarns and fabrics that are flame retardant, also referred to as fire resistant, and can be used to make flame retardant articles, such as clothing. The flame retardant fabrics may have a basis weight from 4 to 15 ounces per square yard.

  • Publication number: 20020165747
Abstract: A supply chain visibility system having a plurality of graphical user interfaces and a processing element is provided. Each graphical user interface includes a plurality of panels for interacting with suppliers and recipients of the supply chain. Each graphical user interface includes configuration panels for presenting a proposed configuration and for releasing changes to the proposed configuration along with a set of delivery due dates for the parts used to assemble the final assembly. A statement of work panel reports the shipping status of the parts used to assemble the final assembly. A delinquent parts panel lists those parts that have not been received by their due dates. A return for repair and a replacement panels receive information on parts that must be returned or replaced due to loss or damage. An email dispatch system alerts supply chain participants to entries and changes made to the configuration and the shipping status of the parts.
