  • Patent number: 9958093
Abstract: Provided is a flexible hose assembly having a flexible tube for conveying fuel through a first fuel passage formed interiorly of the flexible tube and a flexible hose surrounding the flexible tube and forming therewith a second fuel passage. The flexible tube provides internal support for the flexible hose while also allowing for flow of fuel through the second fuel passage and the fuel passages are separate from one another along a length of the flexible hose assembly. When one of the fuel passages is in a low flow or no flow condition, fuel flowing through the other of the fuel passages acts to cool the fuel passage in the low flow or no flow condition to prevent stagnant fuel in the passage from heating up and coking.

Date of Patent: May 1, 2018
    Assignee: PARKER-HANNIFIN CORPORATION
Inventors: Robert Roger Pelletier, Raman Ras
  • Patent number: 9194297
Abstract: Provided is a fuel manifold with more than one fuel circuit for connecting a fuel source or fuel sources to at least one fuel injector, the fuel manifold having an inner tube for conveying fuel through a first fuel passage formed interiorly of the inner tube and an outer tube forming with a slot along a length of the inner tube a second fuel passage. If one of the fuel passages is in a low flow or no flow condition, fuel flowing through the other of the fuel passages acts to cool the fuel passage in the low flow or no flow condition to prevent stagnant fuel in the passage from heating up and coking.

  • Patent number: 5470376
Abstract: A process of recovering a non-ferrous metal from a dross containing the same. The process involves introducing into a rotary furnace the dross and a fluoride compound which becomes substantially molten above the melting point of the metal, heating the dross and fluoride compound to a maximum temperature above the melting point of the metal, using a heating device which substantially maintains a non-oxiding atmosphere in the furnace, rotating the furnace until the dross reaches the maximum temperature, removing the molten metal thereby separated from a solid dross residue and removing the solid dross residue from the furnace. The fluoride compound, which may be, for example, cryolite, recovered cryolite, AlF.sub.3 or NaF, or a mixture thereof, is such that it remains in the dross during the process and does not make the dross become sticky.
