Abstract: The invention relates to a portable electronic appliance including a device for transmitting and/or receiving radio signals integrated in the appliance, the device having an antenna for transmitting and/or receiving the radio signals, the antenna being in register with at least one portion of an outside face of said appliance that is for holding by a user. According to the invention the appliance includes means for creating a different touch sensation corresponding to said portion so as to hinder the user in holding said portion, thus freeing antenna radiation from disturbance due to the presence of a user's hand over said portion. The invention is particularly applicable to telephones, personal digital assistants, pocket computers, and domestic appliances.

Abstract: A portable telephone has a keypad, a screen and a plate under the keypad and including some of the electronic circuits of the telephone and contacts actuated by keys of the keypad to operate the telephone. An identity card is inserted in a cavity under the plate so as to place it in contact with an identity card connector located under the "navigator" key of the keypad on the opposite side of the plate to the identity card. The connections between the connector and the identity card are made by contacts carried by the connector through an opening in the plate. This saves space and reduces the thickness of the telephone.

Abstract: A wind instrument mouthpiece includes a reed (2) which is joined to the barrel (1) by a ligature (5) including a cradle (6), the edges of which are joined by a flexible, tension-resistant rod (7) including a nut for adjusting its length between said edges in order to adapt the ligature (5) to the dimensions of the barrel (1). This mouthpiece is also associated with a mouthpiece cover (14), which includes a slipcase (15) on the inside of which a spring device (16) is disposed, which is intended in the protection position to press the reed (2) of the instrument against the edge of the opening of the chamber (1b).
