The smoking device includes screen member that is movable along the inner surface of the housing in response to the application of a magnetic field thereto. The magnetic field may be created by a power source located on a spacer member along the exterior surface of the housing or a power source associated with the screen member along the inner surface of the housing. The application of the magnetic field causes the corresponding movement of a screen member in the interior of the housing in response to the application of a magnetic force.
