Two sheet-metal members (4, 5) located in closely spaced relation so as to define a capillary space are placed in contact with the heating element (1) and immersed in the water (3) of the reservoir, one of the sheet-metal members being provided with at least one opening (7) placed in proximity to the heating element (1).
