  • Publication number: 20250005513
Abstract: A first device for monitoring products repeatedly carries out a sensing step via a sensor and stores the result of sensing, time data, and status data in a storage unit. The first device conducts transmission via a first communication network whereby a first data set that includes transmission data identifying the transmission, first ID data identifying the first device, and sensing data of the associated time data is transmitted. The first device links the transmission ID data to the respective transmitted sensing data, and receives acknowledgement data sets that include transmission ID data identifying one of the transmissions conducted by the first device. The first device sets the transmission status of sensing data to “ready” upon storing the respective sensing data; and to set the transmission status of sensing data to “acknowledged” upon receiving an acknowledgement data set which comprises transmission ID data linked to the respective sensing data.

  • Publication number: 20240370813
Abstract: A method for monitoring a set of products includes providing a first sensing unit including sensors, first devices and one or more second devices. Each of the first devices being associated with a subset of the products. The first devices being configured to sense physical and/or environmental conditions to which the respective subset of products is assumed to be exposed, generating respective measurement data including data related to the sensed physical and/or environmental conditions, transmitting a first data set including the measurement data via a first communication network to a one of the second devices. Each of the second devices receiving one or more of the first data sets via the first communication network, deriving from the each of the so-received first data sets a respective second data set, and transmitting each of the second data sets via a second communication network to the internet.

  • Patent number: 10337904
Abstract: A thermal flow sensor for determining flow of a medium, comprising: a substrate; first and second temperature sensors arranged on the substrate, wherein the first and second temperature sensors are embodied as heatable temperature sensors or as a first non-heatable temperature sensor, which is associated with a first heating element, and as a second non-heatable temperature sensor, which is associated with a second heating element; a power supply unit, which by means of a first signal supplies the first heatable temperature sensor or the first heating element with a first heating power determined earlier during an adjustment operation and by means of a second signal supplies the second heatable temperature sensor or the second heating element with a second heating power determined earlier in the adjustment operation; and an evaluation unit, which in a measurement operation for determining flow of the medium ascertains a temperature difference between the first temperature sensor and the second temperature sen
