  • Publication number: 20110277866
Abstract: A method of sealing a ventilation channel for a pipe is disclosed. The method includes inserting a sealing insert into a ventilation hole of the ventilation channel, applying rotational energy to the sealing insert, deactivating the rotational energy to the sealing insert once the sealing insert reaches a threshold position, and separating a first portion of the sealing insert being inserted in the ventilation channel from a second portion of the sealing insert.

  • Publication number: 20110277908
Abstract: A method of sealing a ventilation channel for a pipe is disclosed. The method may include inserting a sealing insert into a ventilation hole of the ventilation channel, applying a vibrational energy to a region between the sealing insert and the ventilation channel, deactivating the vibrational energy once the sealing insert and the ventilation channel are welded together at the region, and forming a flush interface between the sealing insert and the ventilation channel at the ventilation hole.

  • Publication number: 20060012166
Abstract: A tubular pipe joint section has a) a first circular rim portion, b) a non-coaxial second circular rim portion, and c) an elliptical body wall extending from the first circular rim portion to the second circular rim portion.

  • Publication number: 20050025573
Abstract: A flow control structure is provided for the selective control of a liquid flow from an external body of liquid or for liquid and/or solid separation. The flow control structure includes a container, a float, and a valve. The container has an inlet, an outlet, and a closed bottom surface. The float is buoyantly positioned within the container and rises and falls in response to the level of liquid in the container. A valve is positioned inside the container and is coupled to the float by a linkage so that the valve opens when the float rises above a preselected height and the valve closes when the float falls to the preselected height within the container. The length of the linkage between the valve and the float determines the height of liquid required to open the valve. The valve may be positioned at an angle relative to the horizontal.
