Abstract: A method of playing a casino table poker-type game comprises a player placing an Ante wager on the poker-type game. The dealer provides at least one hand to the player placing the wager on the poker-type game and at least two hands to the dealer. Abstract: A method of playing a Pai Gow Poker wagering card game is disclosed. The method includes the steps of: a) a player placing a wager on a Pai Gow Poker game, b) players placing an optional wager against a pay table on a separate poker-type game that uses only residual cards from the Pai Gow Poker game, c) dealing seven-card hands from a set of cards to six player positions and to one dealer position, leaving at least three residual cards that have not been dealt to the players or to the dealer. The method also includes the steps of: d) resolving the game of Pai Gow Poker, e) comparing a poker hand made from the residual cards to predetermine hand ranks, and f) paying the players who have placed the optional wager when the poker hand from the residual cards is a predetermined rank. In a preferred form of the game, a 52-card deck plus one joker is used and there are four residual cards of which three are used to make a Three Card Poker® hand.
Abstract: A casino table poker game comprises a player makes an Ante wager to play in the poker game, and a first number of cards being dealt to the player. A second number of cards is dealt to a dealer. The second number of cards dealt to the dealer is greater then the first number of cards dealt to players. The dealer displays at least a first card from the second number of cards dealt to the dealer. The at least first card analyzed by an automatic game rule of play to determine whether the card must be discarded. If the rule operates to require the at least first card be discarded according to the automatic game rule, the dealer must play the dealer hand with fewer then the second number of cards dealt to the dealer. After a final number of cards has been decided in the dealer's hand, the poker game is played to conclusion according to the game rules.
Abstract: A casino-style wagering game is disclosed. The method includes the steps of placing a first multiple-part bet to participate in a first poker game against a pay table with predetermined winning outcomes and payout odds. Players may place an optional side bet to play a second poker-type game against a separate pay table, using a partial hand of cards dealt to each player. After the side bet game is resolved against the side bet pay table, additional cards are provided and the base game is then resolved against the base game pay table.
Abstract: In accordance with the present invention there is provided an elongated deterrent strip for mounting to an inanimate object to discourage birds and other pests from resting on that object. The strip comprises a base of electrically non-conductive material. The strip in lateral cross-section has peripheral edges normally lying in a plane and a raised concave center portion. The base has spaced notches along each edge to provide flexibility to the base, whereby the base may be bent both out of the plane and within the plane. The strip further comprises two electrically conductive wires secured to and extending along the upper surface of the base, over the notches. The wires are spaced so that pest's feet will contact both wires when perched on the base. The wires are connectable to an energy source so that the bird or other pest's feet will short the wires when it is perched on the strip, giving a mild shock to the pest to discourage it from continuing its perch on the strip.
Abstract: A billboard netting system for a billboard (10) including top netting pieces (40, 46, 48), side netting pieces (50, 54, 56, 58), and bottom netting piece (52). Such netting pieces enclose potential bird nesting structure of the billboard, yet allow for easy access to the catwalks (24, 26, 28, 30, 32, 34) of the billboard. As a result, billboards 12, 16 are exterior of the netting pieces.
Abstract: A bird repellant composition includingan effective amount of a polymeric component which polymeric component includes at least one butene polymer or copolymer, andan effective amount of a thickening agent.
Abstract: A multi-layer bird repellant coating for a substrate is provided which comprises:(i) at least one bird repellant bead or strip formed from a bird repellant gel composition including:(a) about 75 to 98% by weight based on the total weight of the gel composition of at least one butene polymer or copolymer;(b) about 1 to 7% by weight based on the total weight of the gel composition of a clay-based thickening agent; and(c) about 1 to 3% by weight based on the total weight of the gel composition of a polar organic swelling agent;said bird repellant bead or strip having sufficient tackiness to repel birds but not to substantially retard the birds and having sufficient viscosity to minimize the flattening of bead or strip; and(ii) a protective coating layer, on said bird repellant bead or strip, formed from a protective coating composition including:(a) an effective amount of a polymeric component, which polymeric component includes at least one vinyl aromatic polymer or copolymer,(b) an effective amount of a solven
